FIFTY-FIVE (55) PUPILS QUALIFY TO DEFEND THEIR ESSAYS BEFORE JUDGES | BGL

The on-going ‘Educational Reality Show” for basic school pupils in the Brong-Ahafo Region of Ghana has entered its third (3rd) and final stage with each qualified  people from various schools in the region slated to meet and defend essay they wrote in stage two (2).

A total of twenty-seven (27) Junior High School students from fifteen (15) different schools in the Brong-Ahafo Region have successfully qualified to the third stage with twenty-eight (28) Upper Primary pupils from thirteen (13) also qualifying.
An essay pass mark of 65% was used in arriving at this number.

The Essay Defense takes 60% of the final mark for prize placement and the essay written by the pupil in stage two (2) takes 40%.

Judges on the day (22/2/2014) will be looking out and scoring marks on the following.
ESSAY CONTENT (20%)
ELOQUENCE (15%)
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (15%)
APPEARANCE (10%)
