A
total of twenty-seven (27) Junior High School students from fifteen (15)
different schools in the Brong-Ahafo Region have successfully qualified to the
third stage with twenty-eight (28) Upper Primary pupils from thirteen (13) also
qualifying.
An
essay pass mark of 65% was used in arriving at this number.
The Essay Defense takes 60% of
the final mark for prize placement and the essay written by the pupil in stage
two (2) takes 40%.
Judges
on the day (22/2/2014) will be looking out and scoring marks on the following.
